Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- School-based SLP experience preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
- Ability to adapt therapeutic strategies for a broad age range of students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students from elementary to high school
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Deliver direct therapy and consultative services for a caseload of 41 students
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to monitor progress and advocate for student needs
- Maintain thorough, compliant documentation and evaluation records
- Travel between four school buildings within the district to offer consistent, high-quality support
