Key Qualifications:
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP Endorsement required
- Experience or strong interest in pediatrics and school-based speech-language pathology
- Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
- Bilingual ability essential
- Comfortable working with students across elementary, middle, and high school
- Dedication to fostering communication and academic success for diverse learners
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language services to students in grades K-12
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders within a school setting
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records and track student progress according to state and district guidelines
- Consult and communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and families to support student growth
