High School Elementary School Speech Pathology | Elgin, Illinois

Qualifications and Experience:
- Active SLP Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP Endorsement (required)
- Thorough understanding of pediatric speech and language development
- Experience serving elementary, middle, and high school students is highly valued

- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language services to students in grades K-12, addressing a variety of communication challenges
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized educational plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s goals
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to maximize carryover of communication skills
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to progress reports and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Participate in professional development and stay up-to-date with best practices in school-based speech-language pathology
