Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP Endorsement required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or eligibility for either
- Familiarity with K-12 caseloads and pediatric populations
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Skills in teletherapy platforms are a plus
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and direct therapy to students with speech, language, and communication impairments
- Develop treatment plans and individualized education program (IEP) goals tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to maximize student progress
- Maintain accurate records according to district and legal guidelines
- Implement therapy services both in-person and as needed via teletherapy platforms
- Offer support and resources for students’ families
