Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Berwyn, IL

This contract position offers a rewarding opportunity to work onsite, closely collaborating with an engaging K-12 student caseload throughout the 2026-2027 school year. You will play an essential role in assessing, diagnosing, and providing therapeutic interventions within an educational setting, making a genuine impact on learners’ academic and social success.
What you’ll bring:
- Active PEL with SLP Endorsement
- Completion of or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not already CCC-certified
- Background in pediatric speech-language pathology, including services for a diverse school population
- Experience with teletherapy platforms, or willingness to adapt to digital service delivery if needed
- Previous professional experience working in schools
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students in grades K-12
- Designing and implementing individualized therapy plans based on students’ needs
- Collaborating with teachers and staff to support students’ IEP goals
- Providing both direct and consultative services in classroom and small group settings
- Documenting student progress, preparing reports, and participating in IEP meetings
- Offering support and education to families to maximize carryover and develop skills at home
