Speech Therapist in Portage, IN

You’ll become an essential part of the learning community, collaborating with faculty and serving diverse student populations. The available roles include one position with a dual-building caseload—covering both an elementary and a middle school—and another with responsibility for two middle school sites. Each caseload consists of approximately 45–55 students.
Preferred qualifications and requirements:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology licensure (CCC) and eligibility for school-based practice
- Prior experience working as an SLP in an educational setting
- Strong assessment and intervention skills across elementary and middle school age groups
- Ability to manage caseloads independently while contributing positively to a team
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement effective IEPs for student progress
- Deliver direct therapy services and consultative support for teachers and families
- Maintain accurate records and participate in student support meetings
