Make a meaningful impact every day by providing top-tier speech therapy services in a dynamic educational environment. This contract opportunity welcomes 2-3 skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP, SLP-CCC) and is also open to dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) who are passionate about supporting both children and adult learners.
You’ll be on-site between 7:30am and 6:00pm for a rewarding, year-round schedule. Here, you’ll develop your professional skills and deliver vital services to students and adults, typically working with 9-10 individuals per day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations, re-evaluations, and feeding therapy sessions.
- Lead individualized and group speech therapy in both speech and malfunction-based modalities.
- Develop and implement dynamic treatment plans to address each learner’s needs.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation on progress and communicate effectively with caregivers and educational team members.
- Adapt your approach for a diverse caseload of children and adults.
- Deliver therapy sessions lasting one hour, as well as targeted 30-minute sessions focusing on speech or malfunction only.
- Actively participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
- Current SLP or SLP-CCC credential, or valid SLPA certification.
- Previous experience in a school or educational setting strongly preferred.
- Comfortable managing a varied caseload.
- Skilled in conducting evaluations, re-evaluations, and providing feeding therapy.
- A collaborative mindset and strong communication abilities.
- Passion for supporting communication growth across age groups.
