The assignments include:
- Lindemann: Grades 3–5, general education students
- Cabrini Elementary: K–8 with the possibility of some preschool and high school involvement
- APMS: ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) and CI (Cognitive Impairment) programs, as well as general education students
- APHS: ASD and CI programs, alongside general education
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Active, state-issued SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with students, families, and staff
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt strategies to a range of learning abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, screenings, and assessments in compliance with school protocols
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate effectively with special education teams, teachers, and families
- Deliver both group and individual therapy for students with varying needs
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation to ensure compliance
