Seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) interested in a full-time contract assignment for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year. This opportunity involves working exclusively in person, providing support to students across multiple buildings within a supportive K-12 public school environment. You’ll step into a role previously held by a virtual provider, with a well-organized team and a manageable caseload, primarily serving high school and elementary students with low behavioral concerns.
Requirements:
- Current, active SLP license for the state
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience in school-based settings preferred
- Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Organized, flexible, and enthusiastic about working with a diverse K-12 student population
- Commitment to in-person service delivery; remote or hybrid work is not an option for this assignment
- Willingness to provide or facilitate a reference sheet upon request
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver diagnostic and therapeutic services to K-12 students with varying communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) appropriate for each student
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to facilitate student progress
- Conduct evaluations, maintain accurate records, and participate in school-based meetings
- Adapt approaches as needed to best serve the unique needs of each student
