Speech Language Pathologist in Creswell, OR

Exciting opportunity for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to make a direct impact on the lives of students in a supportive school environment. This contract role runs from September 8, 2026, through June 17, 2027, and offers the chance to collaborate with a team of professionals serving a dynamic caseload of approximately 33 students across two high schools and one elementary school.
Your responsibilities will be split throughout the week between two campuses, with one focusing primarily on special education life skills programming and the other supporting students as they develop their social abilities. You’ll be the primary SLP on site, but can count on consistent virtual and monthly meetings with the SLP team, as well as daily collaboration with special education teachers, paraprofessionals, and other support staff.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Eligibility for state SLP licensure
- Background in school-based speech therapy preferred
- Experience or interest in feeding and swallowing (safe eating) and AAC (augmentative and alternative communication) – training is available for the right candidate
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group speech/language services for students ages elementary through high school
- Support students with life skills and socialization programs
- Work collaboratively with special education staff, paraprofessionals, and the broader school team
- Participate in IEP meetings, assessments, and progress monitoring
- Maintain thorough documentation and reporting according to school guidelines
