Your commitment will make a significant impact throughout the school year, from September 8, 2026, to June 17, 2027.
This contract opportunity focuses on life skills programming for a caseload of approximately 33 students. While prior experience in feeding and swallowing (safe eating) and AAC is appreciated, a willingness to learn is just as valuable—on-the-job training is available for passionate professionals ready to broaden their skill set.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in school-based settings preferred
- Background or willingness to train in feeding/swallowing and AAC
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for SLP practice in Oregon
Your Role Will Include:
- Delivering individualized and group therapy to students in life skills and socialization programs
- Assessing and developing IEPs that address communication, feeding, and AAC needs
- Collaborating closely with special education teachers, paraprofessionals, and a supportive team of 12 SLPs
- Splitting your week evenly between two vibrant campuses, ensuring continuity of care and connection with your caseload
- Participating in regular professional development and team meetings (virtual/monthly) alongside in-person support from a dedicated staff
