Desired Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP
- Proficient in conducting bilingual assessments (Spanish/English strongly desired)
- Previous experience providing speech and language evaluations within a school-based or pediatric setting
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing scheduling needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive bilingual speech and language assessments for students as needed, with an initial priority on evaluating three students before September 10
- Collaborate with school teams to provide detailed and culturally sensitive evaluation reports
- Conduct assessments and consultations on an on-call, flexible basis as needs arise throughout the school year
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to state and district guidelines
- Offer recommendations for interventions and support services aligned with each student’s unique needs
