Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active and valid state license for Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
- School-based experience is a plus
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings for students as required
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy in both individual and group settings
- Track student progress and maintain precise records in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other allied professionals to support carryover of skills in the classroom and home
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams focused on student success
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education in the field
