School Speech Pathology | Schertz, Texas
Step into a dynamic educational environment supporting students as a Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026–2027 school year! This contract opportunity offers a meaningful blend of collaboration, leadership, and service across two campuses, working with K–12 students to empower their communication and learning.
You’ll provide both assessment and direct therapy services at Martin Luther King Elementary (with SLPA support, K–8) and Bella Cameron Elementary (PreK–5), managing a diverse caseload of approximately 130 students. As part of your role, you’ll also supervise an SLPA at one campus, sharing your expertise and nurturing aspiring professionals.
What we’re looking for:
- Active Texas Speech Language Pathology license (or in process, per state requirements)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or eligibility upon completion of hours
- Bilingual or monolingual candidates
- At least one strong professional reference
- Seasoned Clinical Fellows welcome — district will provide supervision
- School-based experience is a plus but not required
Key responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat students aged K–12 with speech and language needs
- Develop individualized education plans, collaborating with teachers and families
- Supervise and mentor an SLPA at one site
- Maintain detailed, compliant documentation
- Contribute to an engaged, supportive, and inclusive school culture
