SLP in San Antonio, TX
Make a positive impact supporting students as a Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract opportunity is available for bilingual or monolingual SLPs—experienced professionals and seasoned CFYs are encouraged to apply, with supervisory support provided for CFYs. You'll work exclusively on-site at an elementary setting, engaging with a diverse caseload of 51 students from PreK to 5th grade.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license (Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation)
- CCC from ASHA required if clinical hours are complete
- Strong collaboration skills with educational staff and multidisciplinary teams
- Experience or familiarity with behavior support and classroom-based interventions
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work effectively with children across K-12 age groups
- References and credentialing documentation required before starting
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to elementary students
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions
- Document progress according to district and professional standards
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based support plans
- Maintain compliance with state, district, and ethical requirements
