Pediatric School Speech Therapist | Mount Vernon, Illinois

We’re seeking two dedicated Speech-Language Pathology professionals—SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellows—for full-time roles, with a focus on delivering high-quality services in one of two settings: one position will support students in 4th through 8th grades, while the other will work with early childhood, kindergarten, and 1st grade learners.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Illinois State License or eligibility, with ASHA CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Experience in pediatric or school-based caseloads is preferred
- Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills
- Familiarity with individualized education program (IEP) development
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to identify speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans targeting student needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support each student’s success
- Maintain detailed records and progress notes in accordance with district and regulatory requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff development activities
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services
