Speech Therapist in Naperville, IL

You’ll work a consistent schedule from 8:15am to 3:30pm, including a half-hour lunch each day, providing therapeutic support within school hours. With a manageable caseload ranging from 42 to 50 students, you’ll play a key role in supporting communication skills and overcoming language barriers for middle schoolers who need your expertise. The start date is immediate, and the end date will be determined as the school year progresses.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Sciences
- Active SLP license (Illinois state requirements)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFY) are welcome to apply
- Prior experience with middle or school-aged students is a plus
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Daily Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy services to students individually and in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Maintain documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
