Position Details
- Position: Speech-Language Pathologist
- Location: Colorado Springs, CO
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Schedule: 35-37.5 hours per week
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: End of School Year (2026-2027)
- Work Setting: Onsite Only
- Grade Levels: K-12
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy services to students with communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and support staff
- Participate in IEP meetings and complete required documentation
- Maintain compliance with state and district regulations
- Support students in developing communication skills that promote academic and social success
Qualifications
- Active Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist License
- Current Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Teaching Certificate
- School-based SLP experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary educational team
