School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Denver, Colorado

Seeking skilled Speech-Language Pathologists for contract opportunities supporting students in the Denver area. These positions focus on making a meaningful difference in the school environment, working onsite with varied assignments across different campuses.
Two roles are available:
- Full-time at a child development center, providing consistent support while covering two leaves.
- Split assignment between two schools, balancing caseloads and collaborating with diverse educational teams.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Department of Education Special Service Provider License with Speech Pathologist Endorsement required
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Ability to manage caseloads encompassing early childhood, elementary, and possibly middle school students
- Confident with IEP development, direct therapy, and thorough documentation practices
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities with staff, students, and families
- Must pass district-required background check and fingerprinting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services to students for the 2026-2027 academic year (January 7, 2026 – May 28, 2027)
- Assess, diagnose, and treat various speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to students' needs and monitor progress throughout the school year
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure holistic student support and success
- Participate in school meetings and multidisciplinary teams as needed
This is a full-time, onsite contract (37.5 hours/week). Site assignments may be subject to adjustment based on staffing needs. Every day, your expertise will help students build confidence and communication skills vital to their development.
