Two contract positions are available, catering to certified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA). Both roles require onsite presence and directly impact student success across multiple school sites.
Key Details:
- Two positions: one for an SLP (part-time), one for either an SLP or SLPA (full-time beginning in January)
- Coverage may span two or more schools per assignment
- Typical caseloads range from 20–45 students in grades K–12
- The part-time SLP role (2.5 days/week) runs ASAP–May 28, 2027, with assignments rotating to support caseload needs throughout the year
- The full-time position (eligible for SLP or SLPA) runs January 4–May 28, 2027, with dedicated caseloads at each site over the semester
Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Department of Education Special Service Provider License with Speech Pathologist Endorsement (SLPA Endorsement acceptable for one role)
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing assignments and support a diverse student population
- School-based experience preferred
- Must complete district background check and fingerprints promptly
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to assigned students, both individually and in groups
- Collaborate with educators and staff to develop IEP goals and document student progress
- Rotate between designated school campuses as needed
- Provide parent, caregiver, and teacher consultation regarding communication strategies
- Uphold professional standards, district guidelines, and compliance requirements
