We’re seeking two dedicated SLPs to provide invaluable support to students during the 2026-2027 school year. This onsite role offers the chance to work with early childhood and elementary populations, making a direct impact within dynamic educational settings.
Key Details:
- Contract runs from 1/7/26 through 5/28/27
- Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours per week
- Positions covering two separate assignments (some sites may adjust depending on provider leave dates):
- Position 1: Laredo Child Development Center (5 days/week)
- Position 2: 2.5 days/week at Vista PEAK Exploratory and 2.5 days/week at Aurora Highlands
- Serve a diverse caseload focused on fostering communication growth and supporting student success
Required Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Department of Education Special Service Provider License with Speech Pathologist Endorsement
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organization, and adaptability skills
- Candidates must complete district background check and fingerprinting as part of credentialing
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop, implement, and document intervention plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and other specialists
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to support student learning goals
- Adapt to multiple school sites as needed, maintaining consistent and high-quality service delivery
