Available roles include:
- A part-time (.5 FTE) Speech-Language Pathologist assignment (2.5 days/week). This position is available immediately and runs through late May, providing caseload coverage for 20-25 students across multiple school sites, with assignments shifting throughout the school year.
- A full-time position starting in January through the end of May, which may be filled by either a licensed SLP or SLPA. You'll work with 40-45 students at one K-8 campus before transitioning to another high school campus for the final portion of your contract.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Department of Education Special Service Provider License with Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement (or Speech Pathologist Assistant endorsement for the SLPA role)
- School-based SLP/SLPA experience or a strong desire to serve pediatric caseloads
- Reliable, organized, and adaptable to support multiple school sites
- Completion of background check and fingerprinting (required by the district)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with communication challenges
- Complete required documentation and progress reports
- Work closely with educational teams and families to support student IEP goals
- Travel between assigned school sites as scheduled
- Adapt services and approach according to caseload and site needs
