What You’ll Bring:
- Valid SLP licensure in the state or eligibility to obtain licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY considered
- Prior experience with school-aged or preschool caseloads is preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Passion for making learning accessible and fun for young children
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to preschoolers, in both individual and group settings
- Complete comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and the in-building SLP to develop IEP goals and tailor interventions
- Track student progress, maintain thorough records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Foster an inclusive, supportive, and engaging classroom environment
Role Details:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours weekly
- Schedules are either 7:15 am – 3:15 pm or 7:45 am – 3:45 pm, depending on assignment
- Caseloads typically range between 40 and 60 preschool students
- Work in a building with another SLP, ensuring professional camaraderie and resource sharing
- Compensation ranges from $45 to $65 per hour, reflecting experience and credentials
