School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Chicago Ridge, Illinois

This assignment runs from October 19, 2026, through January 11, 2027, providing impactful services to young learners in 2nd through 5th grades. As the school’s Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll manage a caseload of approximately 28-30 students and work closely with dedicated educators to foster positive communication outcomes.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Valid state licensure for practicing SLP in Illinois
- Previous experience with school-aged children strongly preferred
- Excellent collaboration, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to adjust approaches for diverse learning needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students in grades 2-5
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student IEPs
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions (pull-out and push-in models)
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reporting
- Participate in IEP meetings as a valued team member
- Support smooth case management during the leave period
