School Speech Language Pathologist - Chicago, Illinois

Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS 1 endorsement
- Experience or interest in working with middle school students
- Prior exposure to educational or clinical settings, preferably in school-based roles
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Ability to complete district fingerprinting requirements in advance of your start date
Role Details:
- Contract position running from August 19th through May 28th
- Work 2-3 days per week (13-19.5 hours weekly)
- Serve a single middle school campus with a caseload of 15-20 students
- Address a range of mild to moderate communication needs in a supportive environment
- Contribute to ongoing therapy, evaluations, and progress monitoring
- Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and support staff
- District-provided supervision and resources to help ensure professional success
