You’ll work part-time (20 hours per week) as an itinerant SLP at the middle school level, managing a meaningful caseload focused on students receiving services for speech/communication needs, autism, and a variety of learning differences. With roughly 10 students for case management and 20 students overall, you’ll play a key role in student progress while maintaining work-life balance.
Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC or CFY eligible)
- Oregon SLP licensure (required)
- Experience/interest in pediatrics and school settings
- Comfort with teletherapy is a plus
- Understanding of caseload and/or workload service models
- Fingerprinting as per district requirements
Role Responsibilities:
- Case management for students with speech, autism spectrum, specific learning, and intellectual disabilities
- Designing and implementing IEPs and intervention plans
- Collaborating with educational staff and families
- Providing both direct therapy and teletherapy as appropriate
- Maintaining documentation in accordance with district policies
