Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid PEL with SLP Endorsement required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school-based SLP role preferred
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to assess and treat students with mild to moderate disabilities
- Experience with evaluation and providing direct speech therapy minutes
What You’ll Do:
- Carry a manageable caseload of up to 45 students, providing direct speech and language services
- Assist with evaluations and help create individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to foster students’ communication and learning
- Document progress and participate in IEP meetings in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Support educational outcomes by providing high-quality speech therapy tailored to each student
