Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Maryland SLP license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
  • Experience with pediatric populations, ideally in elementary school settings
  • Strong knowledge of IEP processes and documentation
  • Familiarity with conducting assessments and providing both direct and consultative therapy

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and conduct speech/language assessments and student evaluations
  • Develop, update, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEP)
  • Participate in meetings with families and school teams
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to K-2 students
  • Maintain thorough records and adhere to all district guidelines
