School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Evanston, Illinois

This position involves working standard school hours (7:55am–3:10pm), totaling 32.5 hours per week. You’ll manage a caseload capped at 45 students, focusing on direct intervention and evaluations for learners with mild to moderate disabilities.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP Endorsement
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students with diverse needs
- Conduct student assessments and assist with evaluations as part of the educational team
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Track progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state standards
- Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and other service providers to ensure student success
