This onsite opportunity, conveniently based near Chicago, IL, focuses on providing skilled speech-language pathology services to a dedicated caseload of 25 high schoolers during the 2025-2026 school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
- Valid Illinois state licensure (or eligibility)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Ability to work onsite three days per week (Wednesdays required; other two days are flexible)
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Compassionate approach and commitment to supporting diverse learning needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver targeted speech-language therapy services
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school and state regulations
- Serve as an active resource in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal development
- Foster a supportive learning environment, empowering students to reach their full potential
- Work solely onsite, with hours from 8:00am to 3:00pm
