This contract opportunity spans the 2025-2026 academic year, from August 12th through May 15th, with a part-time schedule designed for work-life balance. You’ll work onsite three days per week from 8am to 3pm, supporting a caseload of 25 students who present with a range of learning disabilities. Wednesdays are required for onsite presence, while the remaining two days are flexible, allowing you to tailor your workweek.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure and ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school setting, especially with high school-aged students, highly preferred
- Familiarity with supporting diverse learning profiles and creating individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication skills and collaborative approach with both staff and families
- Ability to remain organized, manage caseload documentation effectively, and meet deadlines
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services directly to high school students
- Assess communication disorders and develop targeted treatment goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional insight and recommendations
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress
- Maintain detailed records of student performance and required compliance documentation
- Engage in problem-solving to address diverse student needs across the caseload
