Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Communicative Disorders or a closely related field
  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Illinois
  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement
  • Prior experience or familiarity working in a school setting is highly valued
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students
  • Conduct evaluations, develop individualized educational plans (IEPs), and document progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other service providers to ensure continuity of care
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student support teams
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations governing school-based therapy
