Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold an active South Carolina Speech Pathologist License and current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Clinical Fellow (CFY) candidates also considered
- Demonstrated skills in pediatric, healthcare, or teletherapy speech-language pathology
- Prior experience in schools is highly valued, though not a strict requirement—clinicians eager to make a difference in a school-based setting are highly encouraged to apply
- Strong interest in supporting students’ communication needs and a genuine passion for serving the pediatric population
Role Responsibilities:
- Work 37.5 hours per week, across 5 days (Monday-Friday), serving K-12 students
- Assess, diagnose, and provide intervention for speech-language disorders
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multi-disciplinary teams to create and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports for students receiving services
- Utilize traditional and/or teletherapy techniques to maximize student access and participation
- Foster an inclusive, positive, and supportive learning environment
