Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Washington State Department of Health SLP License
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Washington State SLP Educational Staff Associate (ESA) credential
- Valid Washington State Driver’s License or alternative proof of mobility
- Cleared WA State and FBI fingerprint/background check, including sexual misconduct screening
- Previous school-based SLP experience is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy services to a diverse K-12 caseload
- Conduct thorough assessments and collaborate on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide both individual and group interventions, adjust strategies to fit student needs
- Work closely with teachers, families, and support teams to facilitate student progress
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in line with state and district guidelines
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive educational environment
