Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license (Washington state certification or eligibility)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience working in school environments strongly preferred
- Solid background in assessment, therapy planning, and delivery for diverse student populations
- Comfort with IEP development, progress monitoring, and data-driven reporting
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech and language assessments for students as referred
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that support educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to maximize student successes
- Maintain timely documentation in accordance with district and regulatory standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Offer guidance and support to classroom teachers and families regarding strategies and accommodations
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current on best practices
