Qualifications/Requirements:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license for Washington
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Experience working in a school or educational setting preferred
- Familiarity with IEPs and school documentation
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students for speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide both group and one-on-one therapy sessions within the school environment
- Monitor and document student progress, updating goals as necessary
- Attend IEP meetings to collaborate on student plans and provide expertise
- Work in partnership with teachers and families to support educational goals
- Stay current on best practices and continued education in speech-language pathology
