Desired Background and Qualifications:
- Active state SLP license
- State teaching certificate and fingerprint clearance card
- SLP-CCC or strong Clinical Fellow (CFY) applicants considered
- Experience with pediatric or school-based SLP services preferred
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is a plus, but this is a fully on-site position
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessments, direct therapy, and IEP-driven intervention for elementary-level students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address a variety of communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student growth
- Maintain thorough documentation aligned with school and state standards
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to student teams
Pay for this role ranges from $40 to $55 per hour, based on your experience and credentials. Additional advantages include weekly direct deposit, potential stipends for housing or meals if eligible for travel status, and reimbursement for licensing, certification, or travel expenses.
