Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Denver, CO
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-8 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This onsite position near Denver, CO runs from ASAP through the end of the school year, offering 32 hours of work each week. You'll play a key role in enabling communication success for students with diverse needs, working within an engaged, collaborative team dedicated to student growth.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active or eligible state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Familiarity with schools, pediatric populations, or healthcare settings preferred
- Candidates with both CCC and CFY welcome to apply
- Background working with at-risk or special education students is highly valued
- Demonstrated strength in communication, organization, and collaborative problem-solving
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with Special Education Teachers to coordinate daily plans, testing, and IEP meetings
- Update and maintain speech-language caseload lists as part of the master Special Education roster
- Deliver personalized, specially designed instruction through inclusion, pullout, or resource room models
- Foster collaborative relationships with staff and families to ensure student IEP goals are consistently met
- Champion each student’s unique strengths and help pave the way for their communicative and academic progress
