Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license (Colorado)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong understanding of SLP best practices and IEP processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech, language, and communication therapy services to school-aged children
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ speech and language abilities
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Track student progress and collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and parents
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Provide ongoing support and advocacy for students’ communication needs
Position Details:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Onsite only, serving one school or possibly several within the same district
- Contract role for the school year
