Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or currently in CFY
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain licensure)
- Experience delivering speech therapy within pediatric or educational settings
- Comfortable with a blend of in-person and teletherapy service delivery
- Proficient in collaborating with other educators and family members
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify communication disorders
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) to support student goals
- Deliver direct therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based techniques
- Provide teletherapy services as needed, ensuring accessibility for all students
- Maintain detailed records, progress notes, and compliance with school/regulatory guidelines
- Offer resources, support, and training to teachers and family members
- Participate in team meetings to monitor progress and adjust therapy strategies
