This full-time contract opportunity is based near the beautiful Colorado Springs area and focuses on empowering elementary students, from kindergarten through fifth grade, to achieve their communication goals.
You’ll be working with a diverse caseload, supporting students with a range of needs—from articulation and fluency to receptive/expressive language, social-pragmatic skills, and high-tech AAC device assistance. Your expertise will help students with mild to severe challenges, making a real difference in their academic journey and daily lives.
What we’re looking for:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong understanding of elementary education and student needs
- Familiarity with AAC devices and high-tech communication solutions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
- Organizational skills for managing therapy schedules and documentation
Key responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group speech-language therapy to elementary students
- Conduct assessments and develop personalized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress
- Document services, monitor progress, and adapt interventions as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
