Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain license for school-based practice
- Prior experience with pediatric populations and knowledge of school settings preferred
- Comfortable delivering therapy services both in-person and via teletherapy platforms
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and create tailored treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions—onsite and virtually—to promote student progress toward IEP goals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and parents to support each child's success
- Document evaluations, progress, and service delivery in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise on student needs and recommended interventions
- Support a diverse caseload, adapting strategies to benefit children at various developmental and cultural backgrounds
