Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP licensure in California (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in school-based settings strongly desired
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Eagerness to work with a diverse student population
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with patience and positivity
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy sessions for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team conferences
- Deliver consultative and push-in services as needed
