Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid California SLP license or eligibility
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or strong CFY candidates considered
- Experience in K-12 school environments a plus
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs, conduct assessments, and track student progress
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and update documentation as required
- Deliver direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multi-disciplinary teams to support student goals
- Offer strategies, resources, and training to support effective classroom communication
- Maintain accurate records and regularly monitor student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development as needed
