School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Los Angeles, California

Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current California state license (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, although candidates completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are also welcome
- Previous experience working in school-based settings is highly valued
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational abilities
- Dedication to collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, families, and students
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group speech/language therapy sessions for students with a variety of communication disorders
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings, developing positive working relationships with educators, staff, and parents
- Perform comprehensive speech and language assessments to support accurate diagnoses and inform instruction
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation and progress reports
- Contribute to creating an inclusive and engaging school environment
