What you'll bring to the position:
- Active Virginia SLP license required
- Clinical Certification of Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered
- Background in pediatric speech-language pathology, especially within school settings (K-12)
- Experience in assessment, intervention planning, documentation, and collaboration with school teams
- Ability to provide both direct and indirect services to students of varying needs
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Primary duties will include:
- Managing a full-time K-12 caseload, providing therapy, assessment, and consultation services
- Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans that support student progress
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other support staff to promote student success
- Maintaining accurate documentation and participating in IEP meetings as needed
- Engaging in ongoing professional development and keeping current with best practices in speech-language pathology
