Position Overview
We are currently hiring a motivated and student-focused Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school district in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This position involves providing therapy services, evaluations, and collaborative support to students across various grade levels.
Minimum Requirements
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Active Tennessee Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility
• Tennessee School Services Personnel License with School Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement or eligibility
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or Clinical Fellow eligible
• Completion of supervised clinical practicum and fellowship requirements
Duties & Responsibilities
• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students
• Conduct evaluations and prepare comprehensive assessment reports
• Develop and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with school staff and families to support student communication goals
• Ensure compliance with state, district, and federal special education guidelines
