Desired Qualifications:
- Current, valid DOE certification required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- License to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Tennessee
- School-based experience or familiarity with IEP development preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload of students with varying communication needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students for speech, language, and communication disorders using standardized tools
- Develop and implement effective, individualized treatment plans
- Consult and collaborate regularly with teachers, parents, and support teams to foster an inclusive educational environment
- Contribute to and participate in IEP meetings, maintaining compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Monitor progress and adapt therapy approaches as necessary to maximize outcomes for each student
- Provide direct and consultative SLP services to students, both individually and in groups
