Contracts begin August 5, 2026, and run through May 19, 2027, offering a full 35-hour work week and assignments that may vary across schools based on demand.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology License
- Current Department of Education certification as an SLP
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
- Must successfully complete fingerprinting and additional credentialing as required
- Comfort working with elementary-aged students and flexibility regarding caseload and site assignment
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to students, primarily within the elementary age group
- Complete evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
- Maintain thorough documentation and communicate progress to staff and families
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and administrators to foster student learning and communication skills
