Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Full-Time Contract Position

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time school-based contract opportunity in the Chattanooga, Tennessee area for the upcoming school year. We are seeking dedicated professionals who are passionate about helping students develop effective communication skills and achieve academic success within the school environment.
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet all local and state certification and licensure requirements. Previous experience working with special education students and collaborating with families is highly preferred.
Position Details:
Full-time contract position
School-based assignment
New school year opportunity
Potential renewal opportunities based on performance while on contract
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy goals
Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students
Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal development
Maintain accurate documentation, therapy notes, and progress reports
Support students with articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication needs
Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
Qualifications:
Active Tennessee SLP licensure and appropriate school credentials
Must meet all local and state regulatory requirements
Prior school-based experience preferred
Experience supporting special education populations strongly preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
