Preferred Qualifications:
- Hold an active and valid SLP license
- Maintain DOE certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Demonstrate prior experience in school-based or pediatric SLP roles
- Complete fingerprint clearance and any necessary background checks before the start date
- Exhibit strong communication, organization, and rapport-building skills with students, families, and school staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders within the school-age population
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor student progress and document outcomes per district and regulatory requirements
- Foster positive, supportive learning environments and advocate for student needs
- Engage with families and colleagues to deliver holistic services
