With a manageable caseload of approximately 45 students, you will concentrate on delivering high-quality therapeutic services, documentation, and data collection—while testing and evaluations are handled by the lead SLP, allowing you to dedicate your attention to direct student care.
Qualifications:
- Active Tennessee Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Experience working in a school setting, preferably with middle school students
- Strong organizational skills for effective caseload management
- Commitment to accurate reporting and documentation
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with staff and families
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to middle school students
- Develop and implement individualized goals in accordance with IEPs
- Collect and document progress data with attention to detail
- Maintain thorough and timely case records as required by the district
- Work cooperatively with educational staff and families to support student success
- Collaborate with the district’s lead SLP for consistency of services
