Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Enrollment in a clinical fellowship year (CFY) in speech-language pathology is required
- Master’s degree from an accredited speech-language pathology program
- Licensure eligibility for speech-language pathology in West Virginia
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to communicate clearly with students, families, and educational staff
- Passion for working with diverse school-aged children
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect services to students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and document progress
- Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights and recommendations
- Complete required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
- Receive supervision from an experienced SLP as you work toward your ASHA certification
